One of my good friends came to me one day, and asked me, "Is it shallow to look at a girl and say that she is gorgeous and that you like her for her looks". I thought for a moment and then replied, " It isn't shallow, you just want to see if her inner beauty reflects the same as her outer beauty. However if you see that it doesnt and you only like her for her looks, then Yes, you are shallow." He took my advice and now likes her even more.
It is a sin to Lust after someone, but it isnt a sin to truly love.
